Local Life Japan Junior Program (Ages 11–15) – Coming This June

In response to many requests from parents, Local Life Japan will launch a Junior Program for students ages 11 to 15 this June!

This special short-term program combines Japanese language study and cultural activities, carefully designed for younger learners. To ensure a safe and supportive experience, the program will keep the group small, with extra staff to assist participants throughout their stay. A homestay experience with local families is also included, allowing students to experience Japanese daily life up close.

Located in Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture, Local Life Japan provides the perfect balance between convenience—close to Kobe and Osaka—and the charm of a friendly, community-based environment. Akashi’s strong local support and rich cultural opportunities make it ideal for younger students to experience authentic Japanese life.

Because the program is designed for younger participants, applications are accepted only through authorized agents.
Study Japanese and Culture is pleased to serve as the official recommending agent for this program.
